KAS BANK’s long-term credit rating A- affirmed

Standard & Poor’s affirmed all the ratings on KAS BANK including the ‘A-‘ long term credit rating and the ‘A-2’ short term credit rating and removed the bank from CreditWatch Negative. The outlook remains negative.

KAS BANK’s business position was revised to adequate from moderate largely thanks to the banks partnership with dwpbank. The affirmation of the credit rating reflects the bank’s improved business position, healthy capital and funding position and low risk profile.

On 16 November 2012, Standard & Poor’s took various rating actions on commercial banks in The Netherlands and various Dutch banks were downgraded. Three banks a.o.
